The event served as both an academic and spiritual forum, bringing together students from various countries to discuss Qur\u2019anic values in an academic context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event, which took place from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, was opened with a welcoming speech by the Dean of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Prof. Dr. H. Muhammad Walid, M.A. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of integrating Qur\u2019anic studies with the development of knowledge within the university environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis Qur\u2019anic\u2013Academic Talks program is expected to become a platform for academic dialogue that connects the values of the Qur\u2019an with the development of science and knowledge, while also strengthening both intellectual and spiritual life among students,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event featured Drs. H. Basri, M.A., Ph.D., Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, as the keynote speaker. In his presentation, he highlighted the importance of making the Qur\u2019an a source of inspiration in academic development as well as a foundation of ethics in education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also noted that the presence of international students in the forum reflects the universal values of the Qur\u2019an, which can serve as a meeting point for students from diverse cultural and national backgrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The international students actively participated throughout the program, from the opening session to the academic discussion. Their involvement reflects the university\u2019s commitment to internationalization while fostering cross-cultural interaction within the academic community at UIN Malang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the Qur\u2019anic\u2013Academic Talks session, the program continued with a khotmil Qur\u2019an attended by all participants.
