
UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang welcomed a delegation from YOU-I JAPAN on April 20, 2026 to expand international opportunities for students.
The meeting took place on campus as part of the university’s effort to strengthen global engagement and collaboration. During the visit, YOU-I JAPAN introduced community service (KKM) and internship programs in companies across Japan, particularly in Ishikawa.
Delegation included Mr. Yamada Kazuo as President & CEO of YOU-I JAPAN, Mr. Imura Ishi as President & CEO of SAM Hakusan (a partner company), Mr. Juniar Mahameru as Consultant, and Annastasya Kei as Indonesia Business Manager.
This visit was welcomed by several university leaders, including Vice Rector for Cooperation and Institutional Development Prof. Dr. H. M. Abdul Hamid, MA, Head of International Office Faridatun Nikmah, M.Pd, Head of Career Development Centre Dr. Ahmad Ghozi, MA, Secretary of LP2M Prof. Dr. Lutfi Mustofa, Head of Community Service Center Dr. Mohammad Mahpur, M.Si, and Vice Dean of Humanities Dr. Galuh Nur Rohmah, M.Pd., M.Ed.
This collaboration is expected to provide broader international exposure, enhance global competencies, and create career opportunities abroad, especially in Japan.
