Academic Information system ( SIAKAD)

Siakad is an interactive academic information system designed to display academic data, and to process data from students, lecturers, and the university’s academic division.

Siakad has flexibility regarding changes to the curriculum and academic policies, ability to rapidly, easily, and accurately analyze academic data, and to integrate and synchronize data, so only the latest data are displayed.

Study Planning

1. Students complete the payment for registration via the appointed bank as the prerequisite to obtain the access code for loggin into the online KRS (Kartu Rencana Studi/Study Planning Card).

2. KRS is used for students to plan their study

3. KRS is filled after students received information regarding the offered subjects/courses from faculty

4. When programming the subjects, students must pay attention to its credit (SKS); whether a course is offered for certain semester or if there is any prerequisite for choosing the course.

5. After programming the KRS, students have to print it out and ask the approval from respective academic advisor.

Fieldwork Practice

Fieldwork Practice (usually called as PKL) is a systematic and synchronous implementation of educational programs in universities, aiming to give skills mastery program through direct work activities in the world of work. Each faculty has different timeline for the implementation; for example: all faculties but Faculty of Tarbiya & Teacher Training programs the students’ fieldwork practice in the seventh semester.

Study Leave and Transfer Services

1. Study Leave

The request for Study Leave should be submitted 7 days (at most) before the due of tuition fees. The maximum permission given for study leave is 2 semesters. Students who are eligible to request for study leave are those who have actively participated in 2-semester lectures.

First, students must ask the academic advisor’s approval. After gaining the approval, the next step is to submit the request to the university’s academic division. The division, then, will issue the official letter for study leave.

2. Study Mutation

Services for Study Mutation include mutations inter-universities (in Indonesia or abroad), inter-faculties, and inter-study programs. The proposal for Study Mutation must be requested maximum 7 days before the due date (check the academic calendar). Students’ GPA must meet the minimum requirement determined by each faculty.

First, students make a request to the rector (with a copy letter sent to the dean of faculty to which the students request to move). The letter must be attached with students’ score transcript which has been legalized and translated to either Indonesia or English. Next, students should wait for the approval letter issued by rector, under the consideration of the dean from the target faculty. Students will also get the conversion of credits written in a form of a conversion certificate

Mail Request Service

This service is provided for international students regarding all correspondences related to academic and immigration. The service include Letter of Acceptance (LoA), issuing Letters of Statement such as for active students, study completion, no-scholarship statement, tuition fees statement, visa request, visa extend request, request for Limited Stay Permit (KITAS), and others

Scholarship Application Services

Scholarship application services are processed after obtaining information from the sponsor or scholarship provider, in this case, the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia (Legal Bureau and KLN and Director General of Islamic Education)
