
International students from UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang participated in Youth International Forum 2026 organized by Universitas Islam Darul ‘Ulum Lamongan under the theme “Gen Z Against War: Youth Driving Peace in a Divided World” on May 11, 2026. The forum brought together student delegates from several countries to encourage peace and unity among young people across cultural differences.
Two international students from UIN Malang, Amr Muhammed Mansoor Shalan from Yemen and Rahimullah Barai from Afghanistan, represented the university alongside delegates from the Philippines, Thailand, and Timor-Leste. The delegation was accompanied by the Head of International Office of UIN Malang, Faridatun Nikmah, M.Pd. Their participation reflected the active role of international youth in promoting peace, tolerance, and intercultural cooperation in the modern world.
During the forum, the Rector of UNISDA Lamongan, Muhammad Hafidh Nashrullah, S.E., M.M., highlighted the importance of maintaining unity and peace among young generations despite differences in nationality and culture. The event also served as a platform for international students to exchange perspectives, strengthen cross-cultural understanding, and spread messages of peace amid global divisions.
