On Monday, September 22, 2025, the International Office of Maliki Islamic University carried out an official visit to the Embassy of Malaysia in Jakarta as part of its efforts to strengthen collaboration with neighboring countries.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Dr. Hasnul Faizal Hushin Amri, Minister Counsellor (Education), Mr. Zulfadhli Bin Hamzah, Education Attaché, and Ms. Ririn Suhirta, Student Affairs and Alumni Officer at the Embassy of Malaysia.

During the meeting, discussions centered on several important matters, including the regulations concerning Malaysian students studying in Indonesia, as well as opportunities for academic cooperation between Maliki Islamic University and various universities in Malaysia.

Representing Maliki Islamic University were Faridatun Nikmah, M.Pd., Head of the International Office, and Muhammad Khafid, M.E., Immigration Coordinator. The visit is expected to pave the way for more intensive academic partnerships and mutual support between the two nations in the field of higher education.
